Free drop-in Gallery Tours

Enhance your visit with our free docent-led tours of highlights from the Corcoran’s collection and special exhibitions! Enjoy exploring our beautiful Beaux Arts building and learn fascinating details about the art with our highly-trained docents and experts.

Highlights Tours are offered daily at noon; at 7 p.m. on Thursdays; and at 3 p.m. on weekends, and provide an overview of the Corcoran’s history and exhibitions. These tours are free with admission and last approximately 45 minutes. Ask about tours at the Admissions Desk, and meet your guide in the Atrium.

Free drop-in College Docent Tours

Guided tours of the Gallery are available with Corcoran College of Art + Design docents each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and are free with the price of admission. Tours last approximately 30 minutes with the opportunity afterwards to discuss the exhibition with the students, most of whom are practicing artists. College docent tours are available upon request, as well.
