THE ART OF GIVING
As the city’s first art museum, the Corcoran Gallery of Art is a Washington tradition. As a privately funded institution, we rely on the generosity of our friends and supporters which enables us to continue our mission to present groundbreaking new exhibitions; to open our classrooms to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to study art; to restore our historic building to better protect and preserve the art treasures inside. The dedication of others sustains and enriches the Corcoran.
There are a number of ways to support the Corcoran.
corcoran ball

This signature black tie event of the Washington D.C. social season is an elegant gala where more than 1000 guests enjoy dinner, dancing, and socializing in one of D.C.’s most spectacular venues. Proceeds from the Ball support the Corcoran’s exhibitions, educational programs, scholarship fund, and award-winning community outreach initiatives.
Special Programs

The Corcoran relies on the extraordinary generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to carry out activities for students, children, families, teachers, scholars, and art lovers of all ages.
Annual Fund

Allow the Corcoran to sustain its long tradition of service to the Washington arts community.
Corporate Giving

An investment in the Corcoran is an investment in the community. Help strengthen the arts and the fabric of our capital city.
Gifts in Tribute

Honor a loved one through a gift in his or her honor.
Entertaining

When it comes to entertaining clients and special guests, the Corcoran’s inspiring environment will transform your important business or social event into a truly unforgettable evening.
