Faculty Development Grant Presentations

Faculty Development Grant Recipient presentations will be in the Auditorium on Monday, October 1 from 1:00-3:00. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about our faculty’s activities outside of the Corcoran walls as artists, researchers and presenters. Below are the most recent grant recipients in 2012. Faculty Accomplishments: Mary Battiata

September 11, 2012

   

Mary Battiata, adjunct instructor in arts and humanities will have two paintings exhibited later this year at the U.S. Embassy in Managua, Nicaragua:  "Leaving You," oil on canvas, painted in 2012; and "Eleven," oil on canvas, 2011. The paintings will be shown through 2014 as part of the U.S. State Department's Art in Embassies program.

Faculty Accomplishments: Tanya Paperny

September 10, 2012

Tanya Paperny, a new adjunct instructor in the arts and humanities department, will have her essay, "Red Hook, Revisited," published in the forthcoming The Crab Orchard Review.  Her essay is about Brooklyn's Red Hook neighborhood.
