Graphic Design Intern (Fall 2014)

Machik is an NGO working to develop new opportunities for education, capacitybuilding,
and innovation in Tibet. Founded on a core commitment to the ideals of
service and engagement, Machik works to create alternative pathways toward a
strong, healthy, and more sustainable future on the Tibetan plateau.
Our work is currently organized around five main program areas: Chungba
Project, Women's Initiatives, Social Entrepreneurship, Youth Leadership, and
Summer Education Programs for Tibetan youth in Tibet.
We are looking for an intern/volunteer with graphic design experience to create a
variety of web and print materials for our programs. You will work closely with the
Project Officer to create visuals and layouts for our website, social media,
brochures, posters, etc… This is a great opportunity to learn and build your

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, and
