Special Interest Societies

Enhance your membership by joining a Special Interest Society

Special Interest Societies allow you to customize your membership experience and take advantage of all the Corcoran has to offer. 

Please note: you must register for a primary membership level before adding a Special Interest Society. Fellows and Chairman’s Guild Members may elect to join one of these as a complimentary benefit.

1869 Society  (an additional $65)

Designed for young professionals—ages 25 to 42—who enjoy diverse social, intellectual, and networking opportunities and events with like-minded art lovers.

Corcoran Contemporaries  (an additional $70)

Designed for Members with an appreciation for contemporary art and emerging artists.

Business & Professional Women of the  Corcoran (an additional $85)

Designed for Women Professionals interested in the arts, philanthropy, and networking.

Educator  Society  (FREE with membership)

The Corcoran values the greater Washington area's educators and offers them, through this society, a chance to take advantage of the Corcoran’s vast educational and cultural resources.
