Corcoran-Style Holiday Gifts
In the Corcoran Shop, we’re offering a broad selection of holiday merchandise—artists’ cards, cans of artificial snow, a glow stick menorah, and 2012 calendars. This season we’re also proud to feature over 50 pieces of Corcoran College of Art + Design student- and alumni-designed merchandise and artwork, including paintings, limited-edition prints, handmade books, and jewelry. Members receive a 20 percent discount during our annual Member Shopping Days, Thursday, December 8 through Sunday, December 11.

The Gift of Learning
Continuing Education gift certificates are the perfect gift for the artist in your life. Orders must be received no later than December 16 to be processed in time for delivery by December 25. In-person orders can be processed at the Downtown campus until December 21. More information is available online.

Creative Christmas
Join the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design in partnership with the Embassy of Denmark for the third Creative Christmas exhibition: State of Matter: Culture, Climate, and Opportunity in Greenland, on view at the Embassy of Denmark from December 6 through 8.

The Corcoran and the White House
For the second year, the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design is partnering with the White House to illustrate the 2011 White House holiday guide book distributed to each guest touring the White House during the holiday season.  Inspired by the theme “Shine, Give, Share,” eight artists from the Corcoran College of Art + Design selected by the White House illustrated the guide book.
