Camp Creativity is divided into four age groups. Studio A (ages 5-7) and Studio B (ages 8-10) meet at the Georgetown campus, while Studio C (ages 11-13) and Studio D (ages 14-16) meet at our downtown campus. Students may sign up for only one week or as many as eight weeks.
The schedule for each Camp Creativity age group (or “Studio”) includes a variety of age-appropriate thematic classes. Inspired by the work of artists from different time periods and around the world, your child will find new avenues of self-expression and gain an understanding of his or her creative potential. Morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions are available and a link to camp descriptions follows. Full-day campers will attend a supervised lunch and outdoor activity from 12-1pm before attending their afternoon session that begins at 1pm.

Corcoran members at the Family member and above receive advance registration for Camp Creativity as well as a waiver of the $35 per camper registration fee.

Hill Center

A wonderful new site has been added for the 2012 season of Camp Creativity—the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design’s summer program for kids age 5-16. In addition to the Downtown and Georgetown locations, a limited number of classes will be offered at the Hill Center, conveniently located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. By offering Camp Creativity on Capitol Hill, the Corcoran hopes to engage new communities in the program. Located two blocks east of the Eastern Market Metro stop on the Blue and Orange lines, this beautiful, historic, and newly renovated facility offers outdoor space for activities. Registration opens on March 21 for the classes at the Hill Center location.
