Charlie Turner, an NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer and a traditionally-trained artist, brings an aesthete’s eye and scholarly sensibility to his work for FORRESTPERKINS, where he has worked on many prominent luxury hotels and multi-family residential projects. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with a minor in Psychology from Georgetown University and a Master of Arts degree in Interior Design from Marymount University. In addition to his role as Interior Designer at FORRESTPERKINS, based in Washington, DC, Mr. Turner has taught graduate level studio classes as an adjunct professor at Marymount University and the Corcoran College of Art and Design. Mr. Turner’s expertise as a trained artist skilled in rendering and freehand drawing makes him a key contributor to the firm’s conceptual work, and his experience with Revit building information modeling software provides clients assurance that their projects will not only be well-designed but well documented and managed through construction. Before joining FORRESTPERKINS, Mr. Turner worked as a project manager for American Office, a contract furniture dealership. Mr. Turner is a Registered Interior Designer in Washington, DC, and is a member of ASID, IIDA, NEWH and the National Building Museum.
