Mr. Tsao is Senior Technical Designer at The PRD Group, a private design firm focused on the planning and design of interpretive museum exhibitions. He coordinates all phases of work with other project designers and consultants, and is responsible for all materials specifications, fabrication details, and technical issues, resulting in complete packages for client review and implementation bidding. He also represents the firm on-site with clients, project architects, and fabricators. Recent projects include permanent galleries in the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the New Bedford Whaling Museum, the Museum of Alabama, and the George W. Bush Presidential Center Museum. Formerly he was Associate Vice President for The Douglas Group, where he project managed and coordinated designs from master planning through fabrication and installation. He is a well known Chinese calligrapher and artist, serving as an instructor on those arts at the George Washington University, the Freer Gallery, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and numerous other institutions. He holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management from the George Washington University, a Master of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois, and a B.S. degree in Mass Communication from the Fu-Jen Catholic University, Taiwan.
