Free School Tours and Workshops

Attention, D.C. teachers! The Corcoran has bus funds for field trips. To apply, please write to Mariel Gabet (mgabet@corcoran.org),  stating your need and how the Corcoran can support your curriculum.

Book a Gallery tour and introduce your students to the joy of learning through art. Interactive tours explore our multicultural collection, tie into school curricula, and place emphasis on the development of important visual and critical analysis skills.

Please review the School Tours Brochure prior to submitting this form.

Submit this form at least four weeks in advance of your earliest tour request date. Written confirmation will arrive within three weeks of receipt. If a conflict occurs, we will contact you.

Please note that your tour is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from the Corcoran Education Department. Questions about scheduling tours should be directed to tours@corcoran.org or (202) 639-1730.




Please note the maximum number we can accommodate is 60 students. We require one chaperone for every 10 students.

Tour Information

The Corcoran Gallery of Art offers docent-led tours at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please note the Gallery is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
