Each year, more than 3,000 students and teachers experience art at the Corcoran through Gallery tours, hands-on workshops, valuable educator resources, and educational programming. Educators are invited to take advantage of a variety of professional development opportunities, and a range of resources available to help integrate art into the classroom or prepare students for a visit to the Gallery.

Special Benefit for Art Teachers

Full-time art teachers, nation-wide, are eligible for tuition free Art Education and Studio courses at the Corcoran, for credit, on a “space available,” non-degree basis. Art teachers considering application to a degree program may inquire about credit transfer policies associated with entering a degree program. Visit Continuing Education for more information.
