What is the Combined Federal Campaign?
The Combined Federal Campaign (“CFC”) is the national giving drive of employees in the Federal workplace for charitable organizations. The CFC supports and promotes philanthropy through a program that is “employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.”
What is the CFCNCA?
The Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (“CFCNCA”) is the local campaign for Federal employees in the Washington, D.C. area.
Who can give through the CFC?
All Federal employees (in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches) in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area and overseas State Department employees giving through the CFCNCA! The National Capital Area includes the District of Columbia along with Prince Georges, Montgomery, Calvert and Charles counties in Maryland, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties in Virginia.
Historically, the following agencies have collectively contributed the largest sums for the CFC: Department of Defense (including members of the military), Department of Commerce, Department of Justice, Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Treasury, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Health and Human Services.
How can Federal employees make donations to the Corcoran?
The Corcoran’s CFC number is 42363, and Federal employees can donate to the Corcoran by going to https://give.cfcnca.org. Depending on the agency, Federal employees will be asked to submit paper pledge cards to their CFC volunteers/loaned executives or may be able to complete the process online. Employees can make either one-time gifts or annual pledges with a minimum of just $1 per pay period.
How you can help!
The Corcoran needs your help in getting the word out about our involvement in the CFC/CFCNCA. In our application, we emphasized how donations are critical to the impact we make in the life of the Washington DC community, and we hope that you will help to illustrate the role the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design plays in our nation’s capital. The following are just a few ways in which you can help the Corcoran get the word out about our involvement in the CFC:
