PRINTMAKING DEPARTMENT

This position is for a BFA student who has had printmaking experience in any of the print media, including screenprinting, lithography, etching, woodcut, book arts, papermaking or digital print media.  The job entails assisting department faculty during class time in specific tasks under the supervision of the Instructor.  This might involve maintaining studio supplies and materials needed for demonstrations, helping the Instructor with a demonstration,  and/or helping students with  basic tasks during class time.

Work-study students available to work Open Studios in the Printmaking Dept. must have more than an Introductory course in Printmaking and show evidence of more advanced printmaking skills and be able to guide students and answer questions to a limited degree during the scheduled Open studio time.  Other assigned maintenance and studio upkeep tasks will be expected, as well as  assistance in following through on materials ordering and inventory during the semester.
