Corcoran Students Create Work for the White House

For the second year in a row, the Corcoran was tapped to create illustrations for the White House holiday guide book, distributed to thousands of guests touring the House during the holiday season. 18 students representing Fine Art, Exhibition Design and Interior Design were invited to meet with planners from the Social Secretary’s Office and the design firm hired to help conceptualize the event. The students who submitted work are: Aidan Fredericks, Annemarie Heeken, Eleanor Graves, Elizabeth Hall, Erin Schwartz, Francis Whitney Hansen, Helen Milinkovic, Iris Chadab, Jean Eckert, Kate Doerr, Linda Potrafke, Lois Rothman, Marguerite (Meta) Carr, Mary Elcano, Michelle Coady, Sarah Miller, Stephanie Scheivert, and Sydney Buttner. The eight students whose work was selected for the final guide book are: Meta Carr, Mary Elcano, Aidan Elisabeth Fredericks, Eleanor Graves, Annemarie Heekin, Sarah Miller, Erin Schwartz, and Lois Rothman.
